Christian Sanz is CEO & Chief Architect of Collagr.com and co-founded the company in July 2007. Chris is responsible for making Collagr one of the most compelling, fun and easy to use web-based collaging applications on the internet.
Chris's overall vision for Collagr.com is to keep the process of giving the user more ways to have fun with their photos. As CEO & Chief Architect, Chris's responsibilities include oversight of business development, marketing, operations and of course technology. Chris wrote Collagr.com's first lines of code back in June 2007 and came up with the original concept.
Chris is currently serving as an executive for a video sharing company where he is responsible for driving all technology initiatives and managing a team of engineers. Chris also has held similar positions in other companies, and he is well-known for his ability to architect and manage high volume, high transaction and high performance distributed systems.
"I started to code Collagr.com back in June 2007. It was a Thursday afternoon and I remember coding non-stop until the following day at around 6AM. I wasn't completely done, but I felt it was necessary to put it live as soon as possible. I wanted to give users a little tease. All of a sudden I started to get a huge amount of traffic from blog web sites around the world."
"Andy helped with the logo and gave me some tips on the user experience, shortly after that I asked him to join forces with me and help me take Collagr.com to the next level. Since then Andy and I have been working really hard on new ideas, new features and planning out the future of Collagr.com. We are having soo much fun!"
"I love photos and I really enjoy seeing them come to life when they are all right next to each other. We hope you enjoy them as well. We love suggestions and we take them very serious, so please share yours thoughts with us and we'll do our best to make them a reality"
